இப்படம் ஒரு சாதுவான சட்டகல்லுரி மாணவனின் வாழ்க்கை போராட்டத்தை விவரிக்கிறது.
சூர்யா பிலிம் புரொடக் ஷன்ஸ் பட நிறுவனம் சார்பாக திரு.மகேஷ்வரன் நந்தகோபால் அவர்கள் தமிழ் மற்றும் மலையாளத்தில் தயாரித்துள்ள படம் ‘சிட்தி’ ( SIDDY )
இந்தப் படத்தில் அஜி ஜான் கதாநாயகனாக நடித்துள்ளார். அக்ஷயா உதயகுமார் மற்றும் ஹரிதா கதாநாயகிகளாக நடித்துள்ளார்கள்.
முக்கிய வேடத்தில் I. M. விஜயன், ராஜேஷ் சர்மா, ஹரி கிருஷ்ணன், சிஜீ லால், வேணு மரியாபுரம், சொப்னா பிள்ளை, மதுவிருத்தி, திவ்யா கோபிநாத், தனுஜா கார்த்தி ஆகியோர் நடித்துள்ளார்கள்.

படம் குறித்து இயக்குநர் பயஸ் ராஜ் கூறியதாவது :
“இது சற்றே வித்தியசமான கிரைம் திரில்லர் ஜானர். சட்டக் கல்லூரியில் படிக்கும் மாணவன் ” சிட்தி ” தவிர்க்க முடியாத சூழ்நிலையில் கொலையாளியாக மாறுகிறார். அவர் ஏன் கொலையாளியாக மாறினார் ? இறுதியில் என்ன நடந்தது ? என்பதை விறுவிறுப்பான திரைக்கதையில் சொல்லியுள்ளோம்.
இதன் படப்பிடிப்பு முழுவதும் கேரளாவின் எழில் மிகுந்த எர்ணாகுளம், கொச்சி, திருவனந்தபுரம் போன்ற இடங்களில் 35 நாட்கள் இரவு பகலாக ஒரே கட்டமாக நடைபெற்றது.
இந்த படத்தில் ஒரு முக்கியமான காட்சியை ஒரு மலையில் உள்ள குகையில் படமாக்கினோம். இந்த காட்சி படத்தில் குறைந்த நேரமே வந்தாலும் அதிக ரிஸ்க் எடுத்தோம்.
இதற்காக செங்குத்தான மலையில் நான்கு மணி நேரம் நள்ளிரவு நேரத்தில் பயணம் செய்து அந்த குகையை அடைந்தோம்.
இந்த படத்தின் எல்லா பணிகளும் தற்போது முடியும் நிலையில் இருக்கின்றது. தமிழ் மற்றும் மலையாளத்தில் ஒரே சமயத்தில் வெளியிடவுள்ளோம்’ என்றார்.
