Tamil Nadu Para Olympic Association provides Groceries to 60 disabled athletes on the eve of Olympic Day
June 23, 2021: On behalf of the Tamil Nadu Para Olympic Association, Groceries were provided to 60 disabled athletes on the eve of Olympic Day.
Chief Guest for the Occasion Ms.C.Latha, General Secretary, Tamilnadu Athletic Association along with the Tamil Nadu Paralympic Association President Mr. Chandrasekhar, General Secretary Mr. Anand Jothi and Vice President Mr. Kirubakara Raja, Treasurer Mr. Vijayasarathy and Coach Mr. Ganesh Singh, General Secretary of the Chennai Paralympic Association presented the items and encouraged the athletes. This initiative by the Tamil Nadu Para Olympic Association, was to help the athletes recover from the 2nd wave of the covid-19 pandemic.
Actress Upasana was also present to encourage and support the para-athletes .
ஒலிம்பிக் தினத்தை முன்னிட்டு தமிழ்நாடு பாரா ஒலிம்பிக் சங்கத்தின் சார்பில் 60 மாற்றுத்திறனாளி விளையாட்டு வீரர்களுக்கு அத்தியாவசிய மளிகைப் பொருட்கள் கொடுக்கப்பட்டன.
ஒவ்வொரு ஆண்டும் ஜூன் 23ஆம் தேதி உலக ஒலிம்பிக் தினம் கொண்டாடப்பட்டு வருகிறது. ஆனால், இந்தாண்டு கொரோனா அச்சுறுத்தல் ஒலிம்பிக் தினத்தை கோலாகலமாக கொண்டாட முடியாத சூழல் ஏற்பட்டுள்ளது. கொரோனா பெருந்தொற்றால் பொதுமக்களும், விளையாட்டு வீரர்களும் ஏராளமான இன்னல்களைச் சந்தித்து வரும் இந்த வேளையில், தமிழ்நாடு பாரா ஒலிம்பிக் சங்கத்தின் சார்பில், உலக ஒலிம்பிக் தினத்தை முன்னிட்டு 60 மாற்றுத்திறனாளி விளையாட்டு வீரர்களுக்கு அத்தியாவசிய மளிகைப் பொருட்கள் வழங்கப்பட்டன.
இந்த நிகழ்ச்சியில் தமிழ்நாடு தடகள சங்கத்தின் பொதுச் செயலாளர் சி.லதா சிறப்பு விருந்தினராகக் கலந்துகொண்டு, பயனாளர்களுக்கு மளிகை பொருட்களை வழங்கினார். மேலும், இந்த நிகழ்வில் தமிழ்நாடு பாரா ஒலிம்பிக் சங்கத் தலைவர் சந்திரசேகர், துணைத் தலைவர் கிருபாகர ராஜா, பொருளாளர் விஜயசாரதி மற்றும் பயிற்சியாளர் கணேஷ் ஆகியோர் கலந்து கொண்டனர்.
