Actress Taapsee Pannu has seemingly responded to a series of Instagram Stories posted and later removed by Kangana Ranaut. Taapsee shared a brief message on her Instagram Stories on Saturday evening. Without referring to Kangana directly, she wrote, “Hence, proved.”
The post came shortly after Kangana appeared to criticise Taapsee over comments concerning her upbringing. Kangana had shared two Instagram Stories addressing the issue. Although Taapsee was not named in the first post, Kangana referred to her using the phrase “sasti copy”, a description that has featured in their previous public exchanges.
In the deleted post, Kangana accused Taapsee of making remarks about her parents and upbringing. She defended her own family background and said she had never brought the parents of others into their disagreements.
In a second Story, Kangana shared a report about Taapsee’s remarks and elaborated on her criticism. She contrasted her own family background with what she described as the circumstances in which some of her critics had grown up.
The two actors have previously exchanged public remarks, making their latest social media posts the latest episode in their long-running public disagreement. Taapsee’s short response did not name Kangana or provide further details, leaving the exact intent behind the message open to interpretation.
