‘RRR’ overtakes ‘Muthu’ collection in Japan

Rajinikanth-starrer ‘Muthu’ was a massive hit in Japan and did great numbers at the box-office.
It is now said that director SS Rajamouli’s film ‘RRR’ with Ram Charan and Junior NTR, has managed to beat Rajinikanth’s Muthu to become the highest grossing Indian film in Japan.
Reports said that ‘RRR’ has collected 24 crore surpassing ‘Muthu’ which has a lifetime collection of 23.5 crore.
‘RRR’ tells a fictional story inspired by Telugu freedom fighters Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem. While Ram Charan plays the role of Sitarama, Jr NTR essays Komaram Bheem.
