Samantha’s show all the way

Yashoda

– Review

Samantha agrees to be a surrogate mother and joins a huge firm run by Varalakshmi Sarathkumar which is known for surrogacy pregnancies.
However, not everything is as it seems and Samantha soon realises that. What’s wrong with the establishment and what happens ultimately forms the rest of the story.
With a simple story, the director duo of Hari-Harish have weaved an interesting screenplay to keep the audience engaged.
The suspense is maintained till the climax portion keeping the audience guessing. The movie follows the template route in the second half.
Samantha carries the entire movie on her shoulder. She gets into the skin of the character to make the audience feel the various emotions.
She has delivered yet another memorable performance. Varalakshmi Sarathkumar plays another pivotal role in the movie and creates the much needed impact.
Unni Mukundan, Rao Ramesh, Murali Sharma and Sampath are all adequate in their roles. Music by Mani Sharma is impressive. M Sukumar’s cinematography is neat.

Rating:4/5
