Ghost is alive 


– Review


Kalidas Jayaram adopts former colonel Kamal as his father. Kalidas’ wife is always sad because their son has a hole in his heart. Vikram takes utmost care of his grandson.

A few minutes into the first half Kalidas and Vikram are killed by a masked gang. A Special police officer Fahadh Faasil is appointed to investigate this case.

Meanwhile, Vijay Sethupathi comes as a notorious drug dealer. Who are the members of the masked gang, was Fahadh able to nab them, why Kalidoss and Kamal were killed forms the rest of the story.

With an ensemble of cast director Lokesh Kanagaraj has given equal importance to everyone and has got the work done.

Core plot of the story, the way the subject has been handled by the director and world class making style are the biggest positives of the movie.

There is no shortage of performers in the movie. Kamal Haasan outshines everyone of them, Fahadh Faasil, Vijay Sethupathi, Narain have all delivered one of their career best performances so far.

Suriya in a special cameo is a complete surprise package.

The movie also hints about Vikram 3 and Kaidhi 2 raising the expectations of the fans.

Anirudh Ravichander’s BGM is the soul of the flick. Girish Gangadharan’s camerawork is excellent.
