Vezham – Review by Naveen

A convincing thriller

– Review

Written and directed by Sandeep Shyam, ‘Vezham’ features Ashok Selvan, Janani Iyer and Iswarya Menon in the lead roles.
The movie is about how a lover takes revenge on a serial killer. Ashok Selvan and Iswarya Menon are lovers.
They go out on a bike trip during which Iswarya is murdered by a masked man. Ashok is also injured during the attack.
After recovering his health, Ashok sets out to find the murderer and take his revenge. Was Ashok successful in his mission forms the rest of the story.
Sandeep Shyam gives enough twists and turns to keep the audience engaged throughout the running time of the film.
However, the more twists also act as the major disadvantage of the flick. Ashok Selvan has two different looks and characters in the film and he has pulled it off convincingly.
His beefed up look in the second part is convincing, especially during the action sequence.
Iswarya delivers a mature acting. Janani does not have much scope in the script, but has done her part well. Jahnu chanthar’s music is the soul of the flick.
It makes the investigative portions more exciting.

Rating: 3.5/5
