‘Veerayi Makkal’
– Review
When Suresh Nandha visits his family in the village, he finds a huge war of words happening between his family and the inmates of the opposite house comprising his uncle’s family.
One day, quite by chance, he lands up at his father’s sister Deepa Sankar’s home and meets her daughter Nandana Anand.
The young couple fall in love but Nandana is scared of dreaming about marriage since their families are enemies.
But Suresh assures her that one day all the family members will unite. One day, Suresh gets angry with his father Vela Ramamoorthy and blames him for the rift.
Hearing this, his mother Rama tells him that his father is not to blame. She elaborates with the backstory about his grandmother Veerayi, who had 3 sons and a daughter.
What is Veerayi’s backstory and how does it Suresh and Nandana’s wedding forms the rest of the story.
