Rio and Gopika Ramesh are in a complicated relationship. Rio has a tough past where his mother left him with his dad, after the latter turned into an alcoholic.
On the other hand, Gopika has a supportive family. But one night, Rio slyly brings himself into Gopika’s bedroom, and what happens from there forms a lot of confusion.
Directed by Swineeth S Sukumar, the movie has a very small and simple plot which does not have many deviations.
The first half of the film is very random with tidbits of adult comedy, and funny situations.
In the second half also, the film wanders around a bit but is saved by the climax stretch which is a big win in terms of the emotions that it brings out.
Rio is efficient in the emotional scenes and has done well in the comic portions as well.
He has understood the character well and has delivered a neat performance based on his strengths.
Gopika Ramesh is a nice find and while she looks too young for the role, she has performed it well. She has delivered what was expected from her, especially in the emotional scenes.
The supporting cast which includes Renji Panicker, and Thulasi have all done a fabulous job.
Yuvan Shankar Raja’s songs are above average, but his BGM amps up the proceedings.
The film’s treatment is also well done, the cinematography by Balaji Subramanyam is neat. Rest of the technical aspects of the movie are good as well.
