Run Baby Run

– Review

The movie begins with the suicide of Smruthi Venkat, who falls from a high-rise building. Then we are introduced to RJ Balaji, who is working in a bank.

While going out on a drive with his fiance Isha Talwar, Balaji finds Aishwarya Rajesh hiding in his car.

Aishwarya then seeks asylum from Balaji as her life is under threat. Though hesitant, initially, Balaji allows her to stay in his house. But to his shock, she is found dead the next day.

He disposes of the body but the problem does not end there. What happens next and who is Aishwarya Rajesh forms the rest of the story.

Director Jiyen Krishnakumar has a very interesting plot at hand and has delivered it in an effective manner.

The suspense factor is kept throughout the first half of the film. The second half has some interesting twists and turns.

It is nice to see RJ Balaji in a full-fledged serious role. Though there is a lot of scope to improve, he delivers a neat performance.

Aishwarya Rajesh carries her role with ease. She could have got a little more screen time.

Rest of the cast including Raj Ayyappa and Smruthi Venkat have done their part well. Sam CS has kept the intensity of the film with his background score.

Rating: 3.6/5
