Ranam Aram Thavarel – Movie Review by Naveen

Interesting and investigating

Ranam Aram Thavarel

– Review

Vaibhav is a facial reconstruction artist, who assists police in reconstructing the faces of deformed dead people.
He also writes crime stories completing incomplete investigations for police officials. He gets involved in one such serial killing case.
How does this case affects his life, was he able to solve the murder mystery forms the core plot of the movie.
Director Sherief has made the movie based on a psychological disorder. The movie has an interesting screenplay and is  fairly engaging.
Some of the aspects in the movie could have been explored a little more. Unlike his previous outings, Vaibhav dons a serious character.
He sports a salt-and-pepper look and is always lost in thoughts with very minimal dialogues.
Saras Menon plays an extended cameo and creates the much needed impact for the role.
Nandita Swetha’s character is the soul of the film. She has understood that and delivered a commendable performance.
Tanya Hope plays the determined cop and is good in her role. Arrol Correli’s music adds to the thrills while Balaji K. Raja’s cinematography is good.

Rating: 3.5/5
