Supernatural thriller
Paramporul
– Review
Sarathkumar is an arrogant police officer who is driven by greed. Accumulating wealth and retiring in serenity is his only aim. He falls for the illegal idol trade business.
Circumstances make him team up with Amitash Pradhan. Amitash helps Sarathkumar in selling a Buddha idol which he believes to be antique.
However, the duo have to face several hurdles including a supernatural encounter before they accomplish the mission. Did they succeed in the mission? What is the secret behind the idol forms the rest of the story.
Directed by Arvind Raj has delivered the movie with compelling writing. The narrative is gripping in most parts.
Arvind dives deeper into the intricacies of the trade and the dangers involved in it.
Sarathkumar is mighty impressive as a cop with grey shade. Amitash has delivered an appreciable performance.
Kashmira as Amitash’s love interest and as a sculptor does a decent job. Balaji Shakthivel delivers a memorable performance.
Rest of the cast have also delivered what was delivered from them. Music by Yuvan Shankar Raja has helped in elevating the proceedings. Rest of the technical aspects are passable.
