The story revolves around the relationships that evolve between four characters enacted by Kalidas Jayaram, Dushara Vijayan, Kalai Arasan and Manisa Tait.
The film explores the complexities of contemporary romance as well as the politics of love in today’s world.
Dushara Vijayan lives life on her own terms and even insists people to call her by the name that she has given herself. She will do as she pleases and does not mind about what others think.
Director Pa Ranjith has not only experimented with the narrative but has also. When it comes to Ranjith’s movie, the politics of the movie is the most discussed aspect.
But Natchathiram Nagargirathu will not just be discussed about its theme, but also its making style.
There are sequences which invoke a lot of contemplation among the viewers by its piercing dialogues.
As far as performances are concerned Dushara Vijayan is the star of the show who gets into the skin of her character.
Kalaiarasan has took his acting prowess to the next level. Kalidas Jayaram makes a mark in his role. The movie is technically sound as well.
A Kishor Kumar’s cinematography suits well with the narrative. Tenma’s music lifts the mood of the film.
