All about friendship

Nanban Oruvan Vandha Piragu

– Review

Hero Ananth Ram moves with his family to a residential area in Chennai as a child.

After becoming friends with some of the people there, he starts a startup in collaboration with them.

But there is a problem in it and it ends in failure so the friends separate and go to work one by one.

Ananth, who is lonely, goes to Singapore for his family. Did he get the life he wanted after that? The rest of the story is about whether he reunites with his friends.

Ananth Ram is the hero and the director of the film. The film begins with Ananth Ram narrating his story to director Venkat Prabhu due to a flight journey.

The way in which the director has narrated the school and college life of the 90s kids is very impressive.

The various stages in the hero’s life are shown as different episodes.

Ananth Ram being the director himself has delivered what is required for the character and makes his mark.

Bhavani Sre has very minimal screen space but has done what was expected from her.

The supporting cast, notably RJ Vijay, KPY Bala, Kumaravel, RJ Ananthi, Kulappulli Leela and Dev, deliver strong performances.

Music by A H Kaashif is youthful and gels well with the theme of the movie.

Tamil Selvan T R’s camerawork has captured the emotions in an effective manner.

Rest of the technical aspects of the movie are good as well.

Rating: 3.75/5
