Naai Sekar Returns – Review by Naveen

Vadivelu’s show all along

Naai Sekar Returns

– Review

Vadivelu is a petty dognapper, who abducts top breed dogs of the rich and blackmails them for ransom. His team crosses the path of a gangster which leads to a series of incidents.
Finally Vadivelu has to face a kingpin from Hyderabad. What happens next and what is the conflict between them forms the rest of the story.
Director Suraaj has taken an interesting plot which will suit the onscreen persona of Vadivelu giving him more scope to perform.
While the theme of the movie is itself interesting, better writing could have made the movie all the more enjoyable.
Vadivelu has once again delivered the goods. His comic timing and body language is the pillar that holds the movie.
His combination scenes with Anandraj are something to watch out for. A little more emphasis on the character would have been the ideal comeback movie for the ace comedian.
Rest of the cast including Shivani Narayanan and Redin Kingsly have done their part well. Santhosh Narayanan’s music helps to elevate a few scenes. Rest of the technical aspects are okayish.

Rating: 3.5/5
