Mudakaruthan – Movie Review by Naveen

From real to reel

–  Review

Veerbabu does herbal business and also takes care of orphan children and senior citizens.

His marriage gets fixed with Mahanama and they go to Chennai for purchasing marriage dress.

He sets on the task of finding his relative’s child who goes missing. During this, he finds out about a big network which is involved in human trafficking.

He decides to rescue the children. How does he do it? What happens to the children forms the rest of the story.

Written and directed by K Veerababu, the movie speaks about the problem of child trafficking in India. He touches upon how the children are abducted and what happens to them after that.

Veerababu who saved several lives with herbal treatment during the coronavirus and was hailed as a real time hero takes the avatar of reel hero in this movie.

Veerababu has tried his best to carry the character, but he could have understood his strength and played accordingly.

Mahana as the heroine appears in a brief role and is impressive.  Rest of the cast have also done their part well.

Cinematography by Arul Selvan is average. Music by Sirpy is good. Rest of the technical aspects are passable.

Rating: 3.7/5
