A decent debut
“Madraaskaran”
– Review
Shane and Niharika Konidela, who are from Chennai, are getting married in Pudukkottai.
Although it is a love marriage, the hero wants the wedding to take place in his hometown surrounded by family and relatives.
While the marriage preparations are going on in full swing, Shane takes his car to meet Niharika, despite his relatives telling him not to go anywhere,
On the way, an accident occurs in which an pregnant Aishwarya Dutta gets injured. She is immediately taken to the hospital.
What happened to Aishwarya there? What did Shane do after the accident? How is Kalaiarsan involved in all this forms the core plot of the movie.
Director Vaali Mohan Das has delivered a raw and rustic action drama that puts many characters in difficult situations and lets us watch all the episodes.
The first half of the film is decently built after the first 30 odd minutes, and closes it with an emotional interval block. The second half is elongated and is engaging in parts.
Shane Nigam brings about a good performance playing the lead role in a Tamil film for the first time, and his dubbing is also good.
The film benefits from the presence of Kalaiarasan who is a good fit. He shines in his role and carries his character with authenticity.
Niharika Konidela and Aishwarya Dutta have done their part well. The rest of the cast are adequate.
The film has good visuals and the stunts by Dinesh Subbarayan are impressive, songs and BGM from Sam CS are impressive.
