Scary Story
Kaatteri
– Review
The movie is about a village which is haunted right from the 1960s. Upon hearing of a village that contains treasure, a small-time criminals group headed by Vaibhav decide to flee there, along with a psychiatrist, whom their boss had tasked them to kidnap, and an unsuspecting policeman.
But it is only after they enter the place do they realise that it is a ghost town
Directed by Deekay, the film moves at its own pace.
The horror comedy fans will like the movie as it is an entertaining ride from start to finish. Vaibhav gets to play a fine role in the flick and he is ably supported by many artists.
Sonam Bajwa, Aathmika, Karunakaran and Ravi Maria have all done their part well.
Varalakshmi Sarathkumar is the pick of the lot and anchors the movie. While the first half had good potential for comedy, the second half takes a serious turn which hampers the flow of the movie. The climax seems to be rushed with several loose ends.
The movie is technically good with appreciable works by music composer SN Prasad and cinematographer P S Vinod.
