– Review
Madonna Sebastian’s family runs a biryani shop. They get a big order from the MLA. However, the MLAs men attack the shop and the family without paying the money.
Madonna’s grandfather is hospitalised after the event. Unable to run the shop, Bhavani’s family seeks the help of lawyer Prabhudeva.
However, upon reaching the lawyer’s office they find an anonymous dead body and they fear that they are being framed for a murder.
So the family tries to get rid of the body. What happens next forms the core plot of the movie.
Director Shakthi Chidambaram prepares the audience for the movie with a voice over asking the viewers to forget logic and enjoy the movie.
The director has got a good plot and neat screenplay. However, the humour in the movie works out only in parts which is a major drawback.
The way in which the sub plots are connected with the main story is commendable.
Prabhu Deva who plays the role of a dead body in the movie has done it with conviction and is really impressive.
Madonna has got a solid role and has utilised it well with her timing and expressions. it is however Abhirami who is the show stealer who scores at every opportunity that she gets.
Yogi Babu evokes laughter here and there. Rest of the cast including Robo Shankar, John Vijay and MS Bhaskar have all done their part well.
Ashwin Vinayagamoorthy’s music keeps the proceedings light and cheery.
