Good Night

– Review

Manikandan suffers from snoring issues. He lives with his sister Raichel Rebecca and brother-in-law Ramesh Thilak, mother and his younger sibling.
He faces rejections his entire life and things take a turn after he meets Meetha Raghunath. They both fall in love and soon get married.
However, Manikandan and his family hide his snoring issues from Meetha Raghunath. How this affects his marriage life and what happens next forms the rest of the story.
Directed by Vinayak, the movie has been made with some compelling moments making it an enjoyable watch.
The characters are established in an effective manner and the writing is neat as well. While the first half is on a lighter note, the second half is packed with emotions and drama.
Mani excels in his character as a middle class man who undergoes various emotions.
He shines in the love portions and is excellent in the scenes where he breaks down because of his snoring issues. Meetha Raghunath has done her part well.
Ramesh Thilak as the brother-in-law is impressive with his one liners and also as the responsible family man.
Rest of the cast including Balaji Sakthivel, Kausalya Natarajan have delivered what was expected from them.
Sean Roldan’s music is very impressive and gels well with the theme of the movie. Jayanth and Sethumadhavan’s camerawork suits the mood of the film.

Rating: 4.5/5
