“Family Padam” Movie

– Review

The movie is about a family who supports the dream of a wannabe filmmaker. Vivek Prasanna, Parthiban Kumar and Udhay Karthik are brothers who live with their parents. 

While Vivek and Parthiban go to jobs. Udhay wants to become a filmmaker. 

Though there are differences in the family, they all support Udhay’s dream. Everytime Udhay is let down, his brothers are always there to support him and assure to produce his next script at all cost. 

Was Udhay successful in achieving his dreams? What happens to the family forms the core plot of the movie.

Directed by Selvah Kumar Thirumaaran, the movie is about the difference that can be made in a person’s life with the support of family members. 

After a long time, we get to see a complete family subject. While the plot is not something new, the way in which the director has presented it is commendable. 

He has stayed within the boundaries, which makes it a pleasant watch. The movie is ably supported by strong performances from the leading cast. 

The chemistry between the three brothers is top notch. Vivek Prasanna is once again spot on with his timing and is complimented well by Udhay. 

Parthiban too has his moments and shines in them. Rest of the cast including Subiksha, Sreeja and Mohana Sundaram have all done their part well. 

Music by AniVee and Ajesh Ashok is impressive. Meyyendiran’s camerawork has captured the proceedings in an interesting manner. Rest of the technical aspects of the movie are adequate.
