Triangular love story
“En Kadhale”
– Review
Lingesh loses his parents at a very young age and is brought up by his uncle. Lingesh’s uncle’s daughter Divya is in love with him and wants to get married. Lingesh is affectionate towards Divya.
Liya, a foreigner comes to the town to learn about Tamil culture. Soon, Lingesh and Liya fall in love with each other. How does this affect Divya, what happens in the family, who did Lingesh marry forms the rest of the story.
Director Jayalakshmi has presented a triangular love story in a pleasant way. Though the story is not something new, the way in which the director has presented the proceedings are really convincing and appreciable.
This is among the rare movies which speak about the love failure of women and the pain that they go through.
Lingesh has done a decent job as the man caught in between the love of two women. The way he has understood the character and played it is really commendable.
Divya has done her role well, and she has made the audience empathise with her character.
Similarly, Liya too has done a decent job in her role. The way in which she has got into the skin of the character and delivered what the director wanted is laudable.
Rest of the cast including Katpadi Rajan, Madhusoodhan Rao and Darshan have all done their part well.
Sandy Sandallo’s music gels well with the theme of the movie and Camerawork by Dony Raj is really impressive and captures the emotions effectively.
