Conflict between lovers
“Emakku Thozhil Romance”
– Review
Ashok Selvan aspired to enter the film industry as a director. At present he is working as an assistant director. He is in love with Avantika Mishra who works as a nurse in a private hospital.
Ashok Selvan’s close friend suddenly becomes pregnant and seeks Ashok Selvan’s help to terminate the pregnancy.
Ashok Selvan lies that he is the friend’s husband and helps her to abort the pregnancy.
When Avantika Mishra finds out about this, it becomes a big problem. What happened next is the rest of the story of the film.
Director Balaji Kesavan has made the movie based on the conflict between lovers. While the first half has some lags, it is compensated well in the second half. The humour portions have worked out well in the second half.
Ashok Selvan has delivered a natural acting as a sincere lover who has to lie due to the circumstances.
Avantika Mishra has done her part well and has delivered what was expected from her.
Rest of the cast including Oorvashi, M S Bhaskar, Bhagavathi Perumal and Badava Gopi have all done complete justice to their respective characters.
Music by Nivas K Prasanna is youthful and energetic. Camerawork by Ganesh Chandra is impressive. Rest of the technical aspects of the movie are passable.
