An engaging ride
Driver Jamuna
– Review
Aishwarya Rajesh is a cab driver who takes after her father’s job after his death.
During one of her trips, three criminals who plot to kill a politician book her cab. Mid-way through their journey Aishwarya comes to know the truth about her passengers.
What does she do, and what happens next forms the rest of the story.
Directed by Kinslin, the movie starts on a promising note and ends as a decent thriller.
The entire plot takes place during the car journey and the director has managed to weave an interesting screenplay around it.
Aishwarya Rajesh fits the role and is convincing as the cab driver. She has delivered an exceptional performance during the climax.
Rest of the cast including Aadukalam Naren, Sriranjini, Manikanta and Kavitha Bharathi have all done their part well.
They have delivered what was expected from them.
Gokul Benoy’s camerawork needs a special mention. Music by Ghibran fits well with the theme of the movie and is racy as well.
