Devil

– Review

Vidharth and Poorna are a newly married couple. Poorna soon finds out that Vidharth has an extramarital affair with his office colleague.

But she is silent about it, the equation gets serious when Poorna happens to meet a younger guy Thrigun who helps her forget the bitter face of life.

As the narrative unfolds, the audience is taken on a rollercoaster of emotions.

Director Aathityaa has taken an unique subject in hand, and has presented it in a different manner.

The story is wafer-thin and had potential to be developed into a decent one, but the writing seems to be very minimal.

Poorna shines the brightest in this movie in which her character gets more prominence. Her conviction makes a compelling portrayal of the character.

Vidharth’s portrayal of the unfaithful husband is convincing. Subhashree and Thrigun have added the much needed impact for the movie.

Karthik Muthukumar’s cinematography, and Mysskin’s background score is impressive. Rest of the technical aspects are adequate.

Rating: 3.5/5

Mysskin’s Music: 51/100
