A neat thriller

D3

– Review

Prajin is an inspector at the Couttralam police station. He comes to know about a particular pattern in which accidents take place within his station’s limit.
Upon investigation he finds that more cases following the same method were closed as accidents.
He starts investigating these deaths which puts his life and family under danger. Why do these accidents happen? Was Prajin able to find out about the accidents form the rest of the story.
Director Balaaji has managed to keep the audience guessing throughout the first half. However, things become weak in the second half.
The concept of medical crime has been explored so many times in Kollywood recently and ‘D3’ is no different.
Prajin is impressive as the cop considering that he is playing the role for the first time. He has a good screen presence and pulled off the character in a convincing manner.
Vidya Pradeep has delivered what was expected from her. Rest of the cast including Charlie, Gayathri, Rahul Madhav and Abhisek have all done their part well.
Manikandan BK’s camera work is impressive. Sreejith’s bgm is one of the major strengths of the movie.

Rating: 3.3/5
