Cobra

– Review

Vikram is a genius mathematician and an assassin. He is so skillful that he doesn’t leave a trace.

He kills a king and escapes unhurt.

He dons multiple getups and has multiple passports so he can travel and kill people.

Meanwhile, Scotland Interpol official Irfan Pathan is after the assassin who killed the British king. Does Irfan succeed?

How Vikram became the assassin forms the rest of the story.

Director Ajay Gnanamuthu has some fascinating ideas in every film of his and Cobra is no exception.

The movie gives ample scope for Vikram to showcase his prowess as an actor. His multiple getups and his body languages in these getups are one of the major strengths of the movie.

Srinidhi Shetty makes a decent debut in Kollywood. Irfan Pathan has delivered an outstanding performance in his first movie.

Mrinalini Ravi and Mia George have done their part well. Rest of the cast including KS Ravikumar and Robo Shankar have done their part well.

AR Rahman’s songs and BGM compliments the movie well. Bhuvan Srinivasan’s camera work is appreciable.

Rating: 3.5/5
