Chiclets

– Review

Nayan Karishma, Amrita Halder and Manjeera are all school friends. They have completed their school and are waiting to join college.

Meanwhile, they go on a trip with their boy friends lying in their home that they were going to attend the marriage of a friend’s sister.

However, the parents of these girls come to know about the truth. What happens next forms the crux of ‘Chiclets’

While most of the adult comedy movies are based on male leads, ‘Chiclets’ directed by Muthu M is about the female leads.

The movie has all the ingredients and dialogues necessary for an adult comedy movie.

After a certain stage, the movie speaks about how parents are struggling to bring up their girl children.

All three female leads have been given equal importance in the movie. Nayan Karishma is impressive in her role. Amrita Halder and Manjeera have also understood the weightage of their respective characters and have done a decent job.

Sriman and Surekha Vani as Nayan Karishma’s parents are convincing.

Balamurali Balu’s music is apt for the theme of the movie and the camerawork by Kolanchi Kumar is colourful. Rest of the technical aspects are okay.

Rating: 4 out of 5
