The theatrical release date for actor Arun Vijay’s high-octane action thriller, ‘Retta Thala’, has been officially rescheduled to December 25th for a Christmas release.

This shift from the earlier December 18th date sets up the film for a major holiday window.

Produced by Bobby Balachandran under BTG Universal, the movie is written and directed by Kris Thirukumaran, marking his third directorial venture after Maan Karate and Gethu.

The film is highly anticipated as Arun Vijay plays a dual role named Malpe Upendra and Shivam, a move that harks back to the success of his dual-role performance in the 2019 thriller ‘Thadam’.

The cast also includes actresses Siddhi Idnani and Tanya Ravichandran, with music by Sam C. S.
