Aranmanai 3
– Review
Andrea Jeremiah’s spirit is haunting the palace owned by Sampath and his family. Sampath’s daughter Raashi Khanna returns to the palace after staying at the hostel for several years.
Sampath’s relative Sundar C also comes to the palace. They start to feel the presence of the spirit. Arya also comes to the palace and is caught in the chaos. What happens next forms the rest of the story.
Just like the first two parts, ‘Aranmanai 3’ is also the story of a vengeful spirit and how the hero overcomes it. Arya does not have much to do and has delivered what was expected from him.
Sundar C delivers his usual performance and fights against the spirit. Raashi Khanna looks beautiful throughout the movie but does not have much of a scope to perform.
Andrea steals the show with her performance. She is terrifying as the ghost and shines in the flashback scenes as well.
With an ensemble of cast including Vivek, Yogi Babu and Manobala, humour has worked in parts. Sathya’s BGM is terrific, however the songs are passable.
