Arjun Das, who has OCD, works in a food delivery company in Chennai. His stressful life changes after he finds the love of Dushara Vijayan, who works as a housekeeper in a rich place.
Love brings him back from his hopeless mood and makes him laugh and relax. In such an environment, suddenly one day Dushara’s boss dies, and the murder falls on Dushara and Arjun.
Who was the actual murderer, what happens to the couple next forms the rest of the story.
Director Vasantha Balan, who had recorded the plight and pain of the exploited poor workers in his ‘Angadi Theru’, has once again chosen a similar story.
This time, he has spoken about the grim face of food delivery companies, the plight of trapped youth, the need for unionisation, the growing corporate culture of consumption, layoffs and privatisation.
Arjun Das has given life to the character of Thirumeni with his performance as a young man who delivers food, who is under stress and who controls his anger and expresses it through facial expressions.
Vasantha Balan has correctly used a person who was narrowed down in the role of a villain and fitted someone who is suitable for the character he has written.
Arjun Das has given life to the character of Thirumeni with his performance as a young man who delivers food, who is under stress and who controls his anger and expresses it through facial expressions.
Vasantha Balan has effectively tapped the potential of Arjun Das who was narrowed down in the role of a villain and has fitted him in a character that was written for him.
Similarly, Dushara Vijayan, who has played a brave woman with a smart body language, has given a different performance in this film in a new role. Rest of the cast have also delivered what was expected from them.
Songs by G V Prakash are passable. However, he shines in the BGM department. Edwin Sakay’s camerawork has captured the proceedings in an effective manner.
