Andrea Jeremiah has been hosting live baking and singing sessions during the ongoing Covid-19 induced lockdown. Making use of the funds raised through the live sessions, she is reaching out to the needy.
The actress-singer recently gifted laptops to students from less-privileged backgrounds. The latest dish the ‘Vada Chennai’ and ‘Viswaroopam’ actress has prepared and shared with her followers on social media is Thai red-curry.
Along with photos, videos and recipe, Andrea, who is currently busy with a bunch of films including Vijay’s ‘Master’ and ‘Maaligai’, posted: “I like to save my Thai curry leftovers and eat it later, over a bowl of rice noodles 🥰 it always tastes better the next day!”
And, here goes the recipe shared by Andrea: “My fave Thai red curry 🏻
I love my curry with lots of flavor and lots of veggies
A lot of people think they need fancy ingredients to make a good Thai curry, but I discovered some easy tricks on the Internet to make a restaurant style Thai curry @ home
1- use fresh garlic & ginger
2- sautee the veggies in butter & curry paste
2- don’t be stingy with coconut milk(I use 400 ml)
3- a little stock cube goes a long way! (Chicken or veg depending on the curry being made)
4- in the absence of fresh lemongrass, add two lemongrass sticks while the curry is simmering, they add a lot of aroma !
5- garnish with fresh coriander & spring onion, always packs a nice punch
I like to save my Thai curry leftovers and eat it later, over a bowl of rice noodles 🥰 it always tastes better the next day!”
