777 Charlie – Review

A special bond

777 Charlie

– Review

Dharma is a guy who has got the cruelest destiny one might ever think of. All the trauma and suffering have made him into a man with a heart of stone.
Nothing moves him or evokes any emotion anymore. His life is turned upside down when he meets a stray female dog who has a contrasting persona as she is naughty and energetic and changes his perspective on life forever.
Director Kiranraj has kept the emotions organic which is one of the biggest strengths of the movie.
He does not follow the regular blueprint which is seen in movies of this genre.
A big kudos for the director for the way he has handled the dogs in the movie. Rakshit Shetty fits the character perfectly.
He makes the audience feel the pain of his character. The bonding between Rakshit and Charlie is so natural that it reflects nicely on the screen.
The comic moments between these two are very cute. While the first half is light and filled with laugh-out-loud moments the second half becomes emotional.
Cinematographer Arvind Kashyap has captured the essence of the movie beautifully. Music from Nobin Paul is the soul of the flick.
