Director Vettrimaran said that Seeman’s comments about Periyar are shocking and worrying.
The ‘Asuran’ director added that Seeman isdoingdangerous politics which is against the welfare of the State and the people.
Responding to Vettrimaran’s statement, director Perarasu said that Seeman did not talk against Periyar but just recollected what he said. This is not defaming him, but telling the truth.
“Prove that what Seeman said was lies. Show that Periyar did not talk ill about Tamil language. All this aside, Seeman has been making open statements about Periyar in public. Why Veeramani and Suba Veerapandiyan are keeping quiet?. When even Veeramani who is responsible to answer these allegations is itself keeping quiet, why should we talk about it. What Seeman is talking about is not dangerous politics, but it is dangerous to those who do politics in the name of Periyar,” Perarasu added.
