The pre-release business of ace director S S Rajamouli’s upcoming film ‘RRR’ has shattered the numbers of his earlier venture ‘Baahubali’.
According to trade experts, the multi-starrer has made over Rs 400 business from South India and overseas alone. According to reports, Dil Raju has acquired the theatrical rights of ‘RRR’ in the Nizam for a massive Rs 75 crore.
Sai Korrapati of Vaaraahi Chalana Chitram has bagged the distribution rights for Ceded and Vizag by paying a whopping sum of Rs 40 crore and Rs 30 crore respectively.
While that the Karnataka rights were reportedly sold for Rs 50 crore, the overseas rights were sold for a record-breaking Rs 75 crore. However, neither the makers nor the distributors have confirmed this officially.
The film has Ram Charan and NTR Junior in lead roles. Reports recently suggested that Rajamouli is planning to approach legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan and superstar Mahesh Babu to give their voice-over for the Hindi and Telugu versions of ‘RRR’, respectively.
