Solid action thriller
Veera Dheera Sooran 2
– Review
The movie majorly takes place over a night, as Vikram, a grocery shop owner is contacted by powerful man Prudhvi Raj, under whom Vikram had once worked as a henchman.
Prudhvi seeks Vikram’s help to finish off the local SP SJ Suryah who is out there to encounter Prudhvi and his son Suraj Venjaramoodu.
But how are these people connected and why do they seem to know a little more about each other? Is Vikram able to complete the task assigned to him forms the core plot of the movie.
Directed by S U Arun Kumar, the movie doesn’t have too many deviations but for a flashback sequence. The entire film is made out of long scenes that come one after the other, with a purpose.
Arun Kumar has delivered the movie with an interesting screenplay which keeps the audience engaged and entertained throughout.
It is Vikram’s massiest role in a long time, and as much fun the actor has doing it, he also brings out some of his vintage elements in it.
He shines as a caring family man, a talented henchman, and guy with quick wit to escapism.
SJ Suryah’s role of a cop is something unusual, and the rest of the actors have also done well in the film.
Suraj makes a solid debut in Kollywood with this role and has delivered a neat performance.
Dushara Vijayan once again makes an impact in a role that not many can pull off.
GV Prakash’s BGM feels like the backbone of the film, and he does so much to elevate many scenes of the film.
