Kadaisi Ulaga Por – Review

Sci-fi with a political message

Kadaisi Ulaga Por

– Review

In the distant future, China in alliance with Russia has formed a Republic, an alternative challenging the United Nations.

India, which refuses to bow down to its neighbouring country, has to face the wrath.

Down south, Natty is the right-hand to the Chief Minister Nasser.

Natarajan is more interested in being the kingmaker than the king himself, and smartly moves his chess pieces on the board called Tamil Nadu.

Meanwhile, all hell breaks loose when China seizes control over the state, pushing the state to declare the next world war.

What happens next and how Natraj, Aadhi and Anagha are involved in all of this forms the core plot of the movie.

Kadaisi Ulaga Por has a solid premise and with someone like Adhi directing the movie, it has all the local flavour in it.

The direction and the execution has been done well. The writing and screenplay are good and the makers have effectively conveyed what they wanted to establish.

Aadhi looks comfortable in his role and plays a role which does not have much heroism staying true to the character.

Nataraj steals the show with well-written dialogues, a tinge of satire, and a brilliant performance.

Anagha and Nasser have done their part well along with the rest of the supporting cast members.

The background score plays a major role in elevating the scenes keeping the audience entertained.

Visuals by Arun Raja looks rich and establishes the geographical premise of the movie in a good manner.  The CG works need special mention as it has been done well.
