Madonna Sabastian, who was part of ‘Kadhalum Kadanthu Pogum’, ‘Power Paandi’ and ‘Junga’, is said to have bagged a key role in Vijay’s next film, tentatively titled ‘Thalapathy 65’.
According to sources, the movie, which is tipped to be a sequel to ‘Thuppakki’, will be directed by A R Murugadoss and bankrolled by Sun Pictures. An official announcement on roping in Madonna for the movie is expected to be made soon.
“Shooting for the film will commence once the Covid-19 induced lockdown is over. Thaman will score music for the flick and the names of the remaining members of the cast and crew will be announced soon,” sources said.
In the past, Murugadoss and Vijay had joined forces for three films- ‘Thuppakki’, ‘Kaththi’ and ‘Sarkar’, it may be recalled. While Murugadoss’ last flick was superstar Rajinikanth’s ‘Darbar’, Vijay’s upcoming release is ‘Master’ helmed by Lokesh Kanagaraj.
