Taapsee Pannu celebrated her birthday recently and celebrities and fans wished her. But she said she was dumbfounded with Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan’s wish.
Greeting Taapsee, Hrithik wrote on social media: “Happy birthday to you @taapsee. From a fan. Have a super duper year ahead. Big hug.”
Thanking Hrithik, Taapsee posted: “Ok this is one message I am totally dumbfounded with. Don’t know exactly how to respond but this becomes my previous birthday gift. You know how much I adore you so no need to reiterate.thank you ️”
Recently, speaking at CII Delhi eConclave ‘Building Delhi for a New World’, Taapsee said, “We never believed that such a crisis (Covid-19) will happen. I guess none of us have prepared for it. We are lucky enough that many of us still survive. But there are so many who have literally hand to mouth existence in terms of not just the labour workers, but people who earn per shoot or per day basis and, and those people I don’t think can survive beyond a few weeks.”
She added: “The industry did come together to raise funds and then help these people out in a lot of ways. Also migrant workers walking back home are painful insights of Covid.”
