Trisha had two ambitions in life. One was to act with superstar Rajinikanth and it became a reality thanks to ‘Petta’. And her other dream, which is to share the screen space with Mohanlal, too has come true with a Malayalam film titled ‘Ram’.
Speaking at the launch event of the film, the ‘Mankatha’ and ‘Ghillie’ actress said: “Firstly, I should thank my producers for signing me. Whenever I meet Mohanlal sir at award functions, my first question to him is when are we working together?”
She added: “This combination of Lal sir and Jeethu Joseph is huge. Their ‘Drishyam’ is a cult film. I’m very excited and looking forward to shoot for the film in 2020”.
To be bankrolled by Ramesh S Pillai and Sudhan S Pillai under Abishek Films and Passion Studios, ‘Ram’ is tipped to be a big-budget film. According to sources, it will be shot in exotic foreign locales including UK, Istanbul and Cairo.
Trisha, who is popular in Kollywood, Tollywood and Mollywood, is currently busy with ‘Garjanai’, Mani Ratnam’s magnum opus ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ and a Telugu flick with Tollywood megastar Chiranjeeevi among other projects.
