Known for partying often, Venkat Prabhu and his gang of friends have now turned to spiritual mode. With the government easing Covid-19 induced lockdown restrictions, the director, his brother and actor Premgi Amaran and other friends took a trip to Thiruvannamalai to get the darshan of Lord Arunachaleswarar.
Posting pictures taken during the trip on his social media page, Premgi wrote, “First temple trip after lockdown blessings to all from Thiruvanamalai.” Actors Karunakaran, Arvind Akash, Ajay Raj and editor Praveen KL were also part of the holy trip.
Praveen posted, “Blessings to all from Tiruvannamalai. Om Shivaya namaha.” It is to be noted that Venkat Prabhu-Premgi’s uncle and music maestro Ilayaraja is an ardent devotee of Lord Arunachaleswarar.
Meanwhile, on the work front, while Venkat Prabhu’s ‘Party’ is waiting for release, the shoot of his other film ‘Maanaadu’, which has Simbu aka STR and Kalyani Priyadarshan in the lead, came to a halt due to lockdown and is expected to resume soon.
