Actress-singer-composer Shruti Haasan has revealed that she suffers from anxiety. The multifaceted personality, who is popular in Tollywood, Kollywood and Bollywood, also said running keeps her calm.
“I run to stay fit, yes. But it’s also a part of my mental health exercise. I suffer from anxiety and I figured that regular exercise is the one thing that keeps it in check and keeps me grounded,” she said in a recent interview.
Shruti, who has also received training in martial arts, said, “I really enjoy fighting. It’s strange, because you’d think that fighting makes you aggressive, but it’s the one thing that calms me down.”
Shruti recently completed 11 years as an actor, and expressed gratitude to fans for supporting her journey in the industry, in a heartfelt video.
“Thankyou from the bottom of my ️ I’m so Thankful for all the work,memories,lessons, highs,lows,joy and love … and Thankyou to the people who enrich my journey.”
She said, “I feel really blessed to be here and to be working. I feel like I have a lot more to do, a lot more to learn and a lot more to grow.
