The latest buzz in Tollywood is that Anushka Shetty has decided to bid adieu to cinema. It is said that even if she acts, she would do it for filmmakers who are very close to her.
According to reports, the ‘Baahubali’ actress, whose film ‘Nishabdham’ is expected to hit the screens after the lockdown, has made up her mind to only sign those films which give importance to her character and is planning to team up with directors and producers who are close to her.
It is also reported that she has decided to do not more than one or two films a year to give the best to her performances instead of making films in a rush. However, Anushka has not yet made an official statement regarding the same.
It is to be noted that the release of ‘Baahubali 2’ in 2017, Anushka Shetty has done only two films as heroine – ‘Baagamathie’ and ‘Nishabdham’. “She has done this purposefully since she has become very choosy about the movies she is doing,” sources said.
