Dhanush has expressed two of his desires- one is to direct a film starring his superstar father-in-law Rajinikanth and the next is to share screen space with the ‘thalaivar’ at least once in his career.
Dhanush, who made his directorial debut with ‘Pa Paandi’ a few years ago, is currently busy with a bunch of acting projects. Also, he would commence his second directorial venture, which is a multi-starrer, soon.
It is said that the film would be bankrolled by Thenandal Studios, which is planning a comeback with this venture.
Besides Nagarajuna, the film, which will simultaneously be made in Tamil and Telugu, will have Sarathkumar, S J Suryah, Srikanth and Aditi Rao Hydari in key roles. Sean Roldan will score the music, while Om Prakash and Prasanna GK handling the cinematography and editing respectively.
Last year, Nagarjuna, while talking about the project, said, “It’s a period drama and this role is extra special to me because I’ve attempted something I’ve never done before. I play a character who goes 600 years back in time. It’s an interesting role.”
