Manjima Mohan, a popular name in Mollywood, made her debut in Kollywood with Simbu starrer ‘Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada’ directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon. Then she was part of Tamil films like ‘Sathriyan’, ‘Devarattam’ etc.
At present, she is part of the films ‘Kalathil Sandhippom’, ‘Tughlaq Dubar’, and ‘FIR’ in Tamil. Directed by debutant Manu Anand, ‘FIR’ features Vishnu Vishal as the protagonist.
In a recent interview, Manjima, while talking about her role in ‘FIR’, said that it will be new and unlike the girl next door roles that she is known for. The actress also said that she has done a very strong role in the film and believes that it will definitely fascinate the audience.
Interestingly, Manu Anand was a former assistant of Gautham Vasudev Menon, and he worked for ‘Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada’, in which Manjima Mohan played the female lead. Hence, they share a great bond.
