Madhavan, who turned 50 recently, has said this has become the most unforgettable birthday in his life and thanked everyone for sending him wishes on various social media platforms.
“I was afraid that this would be an insignificant celebration during the lockdown. But this has become such an eye-opener for me,” the ‘Minnale’ and ‘Vikram Vedha’ actor said.
He said further: “I want to make a wish that the next time I celebrate my birthday, there’s more love in the world, there’s more compassion in the world, that all the agitation, grievances and agony we have today go away.”
Madhavan, who is currently busy with multiple projects including ‘Nishabdham’ opposite Anushka Shetty, added: “And we live as better human beings, which I am sure will happen. Because these tough times is going to polish those rough edges off us. So, I am going to make a heartfelt wish for that and I thank all of you from the bottom of my heart.”
After completing a live chat with his fans, Madhavan said, “This is why I said earlier that this is a very eventful birthday for me. Because I thought it would be a very quiet birthday. A lot of my friends and colleagues sent me videos, saying how much I mean to them. It made me feel really humble. And this has been the most unforgettable and memorable day of my life. I am so much indebted for all your love, respect and affection for me.”
