As the whole country is under lockdown due to the Covid-19 pandemic, director Balaji Mohan of ‘Maari’ and ‘Vaayai Moodi Pesavum’ (this film, interestingly, dealt with one such disease), has found a creative way to kill time.
He wrote: “I shall start posting micro stories/vignettes/poems that I’ve started writing since yesterday… on themes ranging from love & comedy to philosophy & spirituality.”
Balaji Mohan added: “I hope it gives some of you few minutes of company amidst these times of necessary social distancing that is although uncharacteristic of the social animal that the human kind is. But there are more ways to touch people other than just physically.”
Interestingly, the filmmaker’s ‘Micro’ posts have been receiving rave reviews already, and #BalajiMohanMicros has become one of the most searched hashtags on the social media. The director is said to be getting ready for his next movie after the lockdown ends.
