Vishal and Nasser formed the Pandavar Ani and won the Nadigar Sangam (South Indian Artistes Association) elections some years ago. While the former became the organisation’s general secretary, the former was its president.
However, it now seems all is not well between the duo and they have developed a difference of opinion over the affairs of Tamil Film Producers’ Council (Vishal was the president of this association).
A tweet from Nasser’s wife Kameela’s account read: “I’m deeply saddened on seeing the current state of Tamil Film Producers’ Council.”
It added: “I’m not going to join hands with the person who is responsible for this state and not associated with any team now. I will only join hands with the person who works for the upliftment of the council”.
This is being viewed as Nasser’s voice since the veteran actor doesn’t have a Twitter account. It is to be noted that both Nadigar Sangam and Producers Council are now being run by the government, following tussles in the organisations.
