Though Mysskin-directed ‘Psycho’, which has Udhayanidhi Stalin in the lead, has managed to win positive reviews, it has also received its share of trolls. Udhayanidhi has reacted to them.
The actor-producer-politician shared a screenshot of a WhatsApp forwarded message and answered the trolls. The message asks ‘haters’ to question the CCTV visuals of some major incidents that have happened in Tamil Nadu at Puzhal Central Prison, Apollo Hospitals and Kodanad estate before questioning the absence of CCTV visuals in the film.
‘Psycho’, which hit the screens Friday last, is about a visually challenged man who has to save his kidnapped lover from a psychopath. Udhayanidhi and Aditi Rao Hydari played the lead roles, while Nithya Menon and director Ram are seen in key characters.
In a media interaction, Udhayanidhi said, “Mysskin designed my look in ‘Psycho’, he cut my hair and changed me as Gautham. You will not see Udhay in the film as Mysskin has only extracted the performance that would suit the character Gautham in the film.”
He said further that he insisted at least one action scene in the film but Mysskin denied including such cliched portions because it would spoil the uniqueness of ‘Psycho’.
