Even as Vijay is currently shooting for ‘Master’ and Shankar is busy with ‘Indian 2’, there is a buzz in Kollywood that the actor and the director would come together for a mega project later this year.
“After ‘Nanban’, Shankar and Vijay would collaborate for the latter’s 65th movie. A leading production house would bankroll the project and it would be an action entertainer loaded with a message,” sources say.
Meanwhile, the shoot of ‘Master’ is progressing at a brisk pace. After a brief break for New Year, the shoot has resumed. “Lokesh Kanagaraj is making the film on fast-track to catch up the April 9 release deadline,” sources say.
Vijay plays a college professor on a mission in this movie and Vijay Sethupathi plays his villain. While the first look was released recently, a single from the film, composed by Anirudh Ravichander, is expected to be unveiled soon.
